As the summer season is about to begin down under, the first Australian Eurovision representative Guy Sebastian will be giving a series of concerts around his homeland in November. This is what we found out today, after a post on his official Facebook account, displaying the schedule of his upcoming Conscious Tour.

Australia, enjoy!

The singer’s tour will take place as part of the promotion of his new album, Conscious, which is going to be released on 27 October. As Guy himself stated to the newspaper The Daily Telegraph, this is going to be his toughest tour, as it will be very hard for him to translate his new singles into a live show.

According to his Facebook post, his Conscious Tour consists of 6 concerts. Along with guest star Matt Gresham, Guy Sebastian will be touring around almost all Australian big cities, such as Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide from 2 to 11 November 2017.

Guy Sebastian at Eurovision

After the invitation of the EBU to the Australian national broadcaster SBS to participate for the very first time in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, the broadcaster internally selected the Malaysian-born pop singer Guy Sebastian to represent them in the contest with the song Tonight again.

As a special guest, Australia would automatically participate in the Grand Final. The country made a very successful debut, achieving a 5th place with 196 points. Afterwards and although Australia’s participation had been considered to be a on-off event, the country’s participation triggered further participations and remains to this day a member of the Eurovision family.
