Ever since Salvador Sobral won the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, his life has undergone great changes and the Portuguese Eurovision winner has gone places!
Last May Salvador Sobral conquered the hearts of both the European juries and viewers when he was crowned as the very first Portuguese Eurovision winner. The young lad has brought the much coveted Eurovision Grand Prix on home soil after a 50 year drought.
On the way to Rio…
The world is not enough for Salvador as he now sets his eyes on Brazil. The 2017 Eurovision winning entry will now be crossing the Atlantic and hitting Brazilian households. Brazilian tv channel Globo has selected Salvador Sobral and his Eurovision winning entry Amar pelos dois to feature as the opening theme song of their forthcoming soap opera (telenovela) Tempo de Amar.
Millions of Brazilian viewers will be hearing the Salvador’s winning entry every day on Globo tv when they tune in at prime time. Tempo de Amar is scheduled to premire on Brazilian tv next September.
Tempo de Amar
Tempo de Amar (Time to love) is an epoque series set in Brazil and Portugal showcasing the lives of people and their love stories between 1927-1931. The series stars big Brazilian names such as Vitória Strada, Bruno Cabrerizo, Regina Duarte, Tony Ramos, Letícia Sabatella, Jayme Matarazzo and Henri Castelli.
