According to the Azeri Press Agency APA, quoting the organisers of the national selection for Eurovision 2010, a total of three candidates will qualify from the semifinal, to be held on February 2nd.

The exact date for the final has not been yet announced. The jury will select the three acts to qualify for the Azerbaijani final.

The names of the six semifinalists are Safura Alizadeh, Maryam Shabanova, Milk&Kisses group, Azad Shabanov, Elli and Ulviyya Rahimova. The winner of the selection and Azerbaijani representative in Oslo will be decided by jury vote solely.
