The Serbian broadcaster, RTS, is to hold a press conference next Tuesday, January 19th, to present the new method to select the country's entry for Eurovision 2010. It is also expected that the name of the composer chosen by the broadcaster will be made public.
On Tuesday, January 19th, at 17:00 CET, the Serbian broadcaster RTS is to hold a press conference in which all the details regarding the 2010 national selection for Eurovision will be disclosed, including the name of the composer to write the Serbian entry for Oslo.
As already reported, that person would write a number of songs to be sung by singers of their choice with the approval of the broadcaster. At the end of December, RTS disclosed several criteria to be followed in the choice of the composer: it will be a well-known name in the music scene, with high achievements in the field of music and a career ensuring the highest professional standards. This led to speculations, claiming that Goran Bregovic could be the man to take over the role.
The winning entry will be selected via SMS vote in a televised show to be aired at a later date.
