The Romanian broadcaster TVR has launched a call… for designs to participate at a contest to choose a mascot for the country's national selection for Eurovision 2010. The submission deadline has been set on January 31st and all compositions in .jpg format are welcome. A jury will choose the winner, to be announced on February 2nd.

Models must be accompanied by a detailed description (size, color range, the material proposed to imprint the design…), as well as personal information about the applicant (name, surname, ID number, age, e-mail address, and phone number).

A jury will evaluate all the submissions in terms of connection with Eurovision, originality, simplicity of production and efficiency. The designs can be submitted to [email protected]. The final decision is expected to be announced on February 2nd.

Only Romanian citizens can apply for this competition. The author of the winning design will be given 500 euro.
