Goran Bregovic to compose for Serbia?

Serbian newspaper Novosti claims that it is most likely that Goran Bregovic will be the composer of the Serbian Eurovision 2010 entry in Oslo. Goran Bregovic is an internationally acclaimed Serbian musician. Eurovision fans will remember him as he was the interval act at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest final in Belgrade. The newspaper also hints on Emina Jahovic to be the potential Serbian candidate in Oslo.

Goran Bregovic enjoys name, fame and glory all over the world thanks to his music and compositions. He is a household name at home in Serbia. He is very popular in Eastern Europe, too.

This year Serbia will not be electing its representative via Beovizija, but will be selecting a well known composer to compose a few songs for several singers. The Serbian newspaper Novosti claims that Goran Bregovic will be selected to compose the 2010 Serbian Eurovision entry. In its report the newspaper mentions that they tried to verify the news with Mr. Bregovic's manager, who neither comfirmed or denied the news. Novosti also tips Serbian artist Emina Jahovic as the potential Serbian Eurovision 2010 candidate. Will Goran Bregovic compose the Serbian entry? We will have to wait and see.
