As the Icelandic selection process for Eurovision 2010 comes closer, the singers hoping to represent their country in the contest next year start preparing themselves and getting in touch with the television studio where they are going to perform. The first semifinal is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 9th, and the songs to be performed are available to listen to online.

Both singers and the RÚV staff are currently working closely together in order to prepare a successful 2010 selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Expectation in the country seems to be high following Yohanna's second place last year in Moscow with her song Is it true?
