Dutch 2017 Eurovision representatives OG3NE visited the Ukrainian charity event Children Of The Sun, sharing a creative day with the children.
Sisters Lisa, Amy and Shelley Vol of girlband OG3NE enjoyed a sunny afternoon with the kids of Children Of The Sun, a charity event organized by the TulSun Foundation, and supported by the Dutch Embassy. The TulSun Foundation is devoted to children with special needs in Ukraine.
The event was held Wednesday 3 May 2017 at the Olympic Stadium in Kyiv, where OG3NE and the children attended various creative workshops, having fun with painting, modelling clay, and other arts and crafts.
OG3NE certainly embodied the title of their 2017 Eurovision entry, Lights and shadows, as the three girls figuratively brought light to the already sunny day. They had a really good time with the kids, all in the spirit of TulSun Foundation’s slogan:
We are not just doing charity, we give dreams and hope for a better future.
Afterwards, there was an exchange of flowers: OG3NE received bouquets of sunflowers, Ukraine’s national flower, while the kids received tulips, The Netherlands’ national flower. The Ukrainian press was also present during the event.
Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS shared a video of OG3NE at Children Of The Sun:
