Whilst the first rehearsals are in full swing in Kyiv, the city is gearing up for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest. A total of 42 hot air balloons representing the ESC participating countries will be flying over Kyiv in the coming days.
The Montgolfier International Balloon Festival  will kick off on Saturday 6 May and conclude on Sunday 14 May.. About 42 balloons representing the countries-contestants will rise above the city.
The flights will run daily at the following locations:  Trukhaniv Island (Podilsko-Voskresenskyi bridge), Friendship Park, Hidropark (Dolobetskyi Island) in the mornings (8a.m. – 10a.m) and evenings (6p.m – 8p.m).

The festival program also includes evening balloon performances.

Kyiv is all set to embrace the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest and welcome everyone to Celebrate Diversity!
