Eurovision 2017: The Prime Minister of Ukraine visits the IEC (ESC venue)

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mr. Vladimir Groisman visited the 2017 Eurovision  Song Contest venue- the International Exhibition Center and checked out the preparations for the upcoming event and got a chance to see the stage and Green Room.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mr. Vladimir Groisman paid a visit to the Eurovision venue today, he was accompanied by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Mr. Vyacheslav Kyrylenko, the Minister of Culture of Ukraine Mr. Yevhen Nyschukom, Government Agent for the rights of people with disabilities Ms Raisa Panasiuk and the 2004 Eurovision Ukranian winner Ruslana.

They visited the Press Centre, the main arena (stage and Green Room), delegation area, recreation area etc and were briefed in about the logistics and preparations for the upcoming event.

Mr. Christer Bjorkman (Euro vision 2017 Show Producer), Mr. Jon Ola Sand (EBU), Mr. Ola Mezig and Pavlo Hrytsak (UA:PBC) and UA:PBC officials were also present during the tour and updated the Prime Minister with all the data and infomation regarding the organization.

Mr. Vladimir Groisman was impressed with the preparations and praised the work of those involved in the organization.

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC, in Kyiv, Ukraine.
