The rising profile of AySel, the representative for Azerbaijan in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest has increaced once more as she features in a high profile television commercial for Danone Activa. The commercial produced by Cinealliance and shot on location in Heydar Aliyev Palace Central entertainment venue in Azerbaijan, has recently been broadcasted in her native Azerbaijan and neighbouring Georgia.

Since finishing third in this year’s contest alongside Arash with the Azeri entry Always, AySel has been busy in the recording studio working on her debut album. She is collaborating with top music producers in Sweden and she feels very proud of the work she has already produced. On recording her album AySel said I am proud of a few beautiful ballads from this album, it sounds really nice for me.

Now back in Baku, AySel will shortly be working on the shoot for her first music video as a solo artist. Both the video and album are expected to be released in early 2010.
