Following the bad news reaching the Eurovision world about countries withdrawing or considering withdrawal from the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest some good news can also be announced as Bosnia & Herzegovina now confirm that they will be flying their flag in Oslo.

BHRT have officially announced that Bosnia & Herzegovina will be participating in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. The country's rules for the kind of preselection they will have for next year will be announced shortly.

B & H have been regular contributors to the Eurovision Song Contest since 1993. They are known for their diverse entries and they achieved their best placing in 2006 when Hari Mata Hari came 3rd with Lejla. In 2009, Regina not only managed to qualify third in their semi final but also managed a respectable ninth placing with Bistra Voda.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
