Alexander Rybak is part of the cast of forthcoming movie Yohan Barnevandrer, directed by Grete Salomonsen, which will premiere in Norway on December 11. Just a few days ago, Alexander who is currently in Lithuania, has released the official video for his new song Funny little world.

On its website, Yohan- The Child Wanderer,is described as the largest Norwegian family film to be shot, an exciting, action-packed family movie, inspired by real events, of one of many child wanderers who lived in the South of Norway between the years of 1800- 1910. Many of these child wanderers, in order to survive, immigrated to the USA at the young age of 15 years old. Filming locations were in both Norway's scenic countryside and the United States – on location at Big Bear Mountain in California, for the wolf and bear scenes using Hollywood trained animals, and in New York City for the bookends with Kris Kristofferson, the American country singer and actor. There is one English and one Norwegian version of the movie, filmed in parallel. The film is to be distributed to 30 countries.

Along with Rybak, who plays Levi, a young violonist, two other famous Norwegian singers feature in the cast : Morten Abel and Alejandro Fuentes.
