Tomorrow, press conference will be held to reveal details regarding the German national selection for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. As announced earlier, it will be a joint project of public channel and private channel Pro7. The format was developped by Stefan Raab, who represented Germany one time as a singer and three times as a composer.

The press conference will be broadcast live at 12:00 CET on Phoenix, the channel that also broadcast the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest this year. Furthermore, there will be an internet live stream on eurovision.de.

There will be eight shows to choose the German representative for Oslo. There will be five heats on Pro7. A quarter final will be broadcast on public channel ARD followed by a semi final on Pro7 and a grand final on ARD again.

In 2009, Germany was represented by Alex Swings, Oscar Sings! with the song Miss kiss kiss bang. The duo finished 20th in the final with 35 points.
