FYR Macedonia and Jana Burčeska’s entry for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is set to be unveiled this coming Friday on the 10 March.
Having confirmed their representative of the 2017 competition as Jana Burčeska back in November 2016, MRT has confirmed that FYR Macedonia’s song for the contest is set to be unveiled this Friday on the 10 March.
The song has been shortlisted following a submission period, in which a total of around 200 entries were received.
Few details regarding the country’s upcoming entry have been revealed by the broadcaster since their confirmation, however all information regarding the composers and creative team for the contest, including the general concept of their forthcoming performance, are set to be unveiled this Friday.
A special presentation of the official entry of FYR Macedonia will take place during Stisni Play on MRT 1, airing from 20:15 CET on the 10 March.

Burčeska will compete in the first half of the second semi-final on the 11 May in a bid to bring FYR Macedonia back to the final of the competition on the 13 May.
FYR Macedonia’s last qualification was in 2012 following Kaliopi’s participation. Competing with Crno i belo, the nation finished in 13th place in the Eurovision 2012 final, receiving a total of 71 points.
