Czech Republic: Martina Bárta releases My Turn!

Martina Bárta, the Czech representative at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, has unveiled her entry for the Kyiv-hosted competition, My turn! How will the Czech Republic fare in the contest this May?

Last month, it was confirmed by the Czech national broadcaster CT that Martina Bárta has been internally selected to represent the nation at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.

Since the initial announcement, both CT together with Bárta have been releasing small hints and teasers in connection with the forthcoming entry, recently confirming that name of the Czech entry as My turn.

My turn, the official Czech entry for Eurovision 2017, was written and produced specifically for the competition following an open call for song entries by the nation’s broadcaster.

Over the past number of weeks, the people behind the Czech Eurovision team have been busy with the filming and production of the country’s music video for the competition. The music video is expected to be released within the next few days.

Bárta will compete in the second half of the first semi-final on the 9 May in the hope of bringing the Czech Republic to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest for a second consecutive year. Can Bárta bring the nation their most successful results to date?
