Denmark: Anja wins Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2017 and goes to Kyiv!

Denmark has decided: Anja will represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 after winning Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2017 that was held tonight in Jyske Bank Boxen Arena in Herning.

Ten participants took the stage during the show, and a jury of five Danish Eurovision fans as well as the viewers at home decided to send three songs to the superfinal. Both parties cast their votes again and the final result was as follows:

  1. Anja – Where I am 64%
  2. Ida Una – One 26%
  3. Johanna Beijbom – A.S.A.P. 10%

Anja has previously participated in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2016 with Never alone and finished 2nd.
