RTVSLO, the Slovenian national broadcaster, has released the running order of the final of the country’s national selection, EMA 2017.

Last Friday and Saturday saw the 2 semi-finals of Slovenia’s EMA 2017 selection; 16 acts competed in total, but only 8 have qualified to the final of the competition set to take place this Friday.

With the 8 finalists now known, here is the official running order of the EMA 2017 final; opening the competition with some uptempo ska and ending on contemporary-electronic pop!

1. Sell Out – Ni panike
2. Nuška Drašček – Flower in the snow
3. Tim Kores Kori – Open fire
4. Nika Zorjan – Fse
5. KiNG FOO – Wild ride
6. Omar Naber – On my way
7. BQL – Heart of gold
8. Raiven – Zažarim

The final of EMA 2017, hosted by Tina Gorenjak, Maja Martina Merljak, Tanja Kocman and Mario Galunič, will take place this Friday on the 24 February and will air live on TV SLO1 from 20:00 CET.

Slovenia will determine their EMA 2017 champion via a combined 50% televote and 50% jury vote, the winner of which will go on to represent Slovenia at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.

Slovenia will compete in the second half of the first semi-final on the 9 May in the hope of qualifying to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on the 13 May.
