The songs are out! The German national broadcaster, ARD, has released clips of the potential Eurovision 2017 entries set to be presented live in the country’s national final, Unser Song 2017, tomorrow evening.

Available to view and listen to via the official Eurovision app, clips from each of today’s Unser Song 2017 rehearsals have been unveiled by the German national broadcaster and it’s now time to have your say!

Watch and vote for your favourites

This year’s Unser Song participants will present a total of 3 songs each during the show; 1 cover version of a known hit as well as their 2 potential Eurovision entries for the 2017 competition, Wildfire and Perfect life.

Through the Eurovision app under the section entitled Eurovision Vibes, everyone is now able to watch and listen to a clip of each of the performances, with the international public now able to have their say and vote for their favourite performances.

These opinion votes will be shared during the national final tomorrow evening and will help the German public to select their act for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.

How will Unser Song 2017 work?

Unser Song 2017 will include a total of 4 rounds. Here’s how they’ll work!

  • Round 1: The 5 candidates will perform a cover of a song of their choice; 3 will qualify to round 2.
  • Round 2: The 3 qualifiers will perform the first of the 2 bidding Eurovision entries; 2 artists will qualify to round 3.
  • Round 3: The 2 qualifiers will perform the second of the 2 bidding Eurovision entries; the public will then vote for their favourite performances. This could either be 1 performance per artist, or 1 artist with both entries.
  • Round 4: The 2 remaining entries will battle it out for the right to become the next German entry at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.

The winner of Unser Song 2017 will be determined tomorrow evening in which the 5 participants, Axel Feige, Felicia Lu Kürbiß, Helene Nissen, Levina and Yosefin Buohler, will bid for the right to represent their country in Kyiv.

The show will once again be hosted by Barbara Schöneberger live from Cologne and will air on Das Erste and EinsFestival from 20:15 CET.
