The multi talented Spanish Objetivo Eurovision 2017 hopeful Maika Barbero has released the acoustic piano version of her entry Momento Critico (Critical Moment).
Maika Barbero is vying to represent Spain at the forthcoming 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, she will be competing in the 2017 Spanish Eurovision national final- Objetivo Eurovision 2017 with her entry with Momento Critico.
The talented Spanish artist is all set to bring Rock to the Eurovision Song Contest, if she gets the chance to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest, it will be the first time the country goes to Eurovision with a Rock song!
Maika Barbero is quite a popular singer in Spain, having competed in The Voice Spain in 2012 where she gained much fame and recognition. She has also competed in the Baltic Song Contest. She has released an album with songs both in Spanish and English. Her song has been composed and penned by J.J. Santana and Rafael Artesero. J.J Santana was behind the 2009 Montenegrin Eurovision entry and has competed in the Spanish and many European Eurovision national selections. Rafael Artesero has been to Eurovision many times as a composer: Andorra (2005, 2006), Spain (2011) and Belgium (2014).

The 2017 Spanish Eurovision national final is scheduled to be held this weekend, on Saturday 11 March in Madrid. A total of 6 acts will battle for the golden ticket to Kyiv: Mario Jefferson, Mirela, Maika Barbero, LeKlein, Paula Rojo and Manel Navarro.
Objetivo Eurovision will be aired live on TVE 1 and TVE Interntional and will be hosted by Jaime Cantizano. The show will be streamed live on rtve.es at 22:00 CET.
Spain debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has won the competition twice in 1968 and 1969. The country has been competing religiously in the contest every year since its debut.
The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
