The penultimate show in the Hungarian national selection process, the second semi-final of A Dal 2017, will take place tonight.
After three heats, nine songs remain to perform again tonight. Their goal is to join the four songs already qualified for the final, which will take place on 18th February 2017. Four songs will qualify tonight.
The jury of A Dal 2017 consists of: RnB singer Caramel, singer Zséda, rock singer and songwriter Károly Frenreisz and composer and musician Miklós Both. Each juror will give a score of 1-10 for each song.
The viewers, who are able to vote by telephone, SMS or the A Dal app, will give another score of 1-10 to each song, assuming the role of the fifth juror.
The top three will qualify to the final, while the remaining six entries will go through to a second chance round of televotes. The winner of this televoting round will also proceed to the final.

The show is hosted by television presenters Csilla Tatár and Levente Harsányi and will be broadcast live from Budapest at 19:30 CET and on MTVA’s channels:

Kállay Saunders Band previously represented Hungary in the 2014 Eurovision song contest, earning a respectable 5th place, Hungary’s best result since 1994, with the song Running.
Ádám Szabó has competed in A Dal twice before; he was eliminated from his heat in 2013 and he finished in second place in 2015. Benji is returning to A Dal after participating in 2016, as is Olivér Berkes, Gabi Tóth participated previously in 2012 and Leander Kills took part in 2015.
After tonight’s show, we will know all the participants of the grand final of A Dal 2017, which will take place on 18 February 2017
