The first Semifinal of Melodifestivalen 2017 was held this evening in Gothenburg. Out of seven competing acts, two have qualified to the final, two will get a second chance and three had to leave the contest.

The results were decided by 100% televoting, in two voting rounds: the first to determine the top five and the second to get the final results, which are as follows:

Qualified to the Final:

  • Ace WilderWild child

Qualified to Andra Chansen (Second chance):

  • Boris RenĂ©Her kiss
  • De Vet DuRoad trip

Left the competition:

  • 5th place: Dinah NahOne more night
  • 6th place: AdrijanaAmare
  • 7th place: Charlotte PerelliMitt liv

A new record of votes for a semifinal was broken tonight.

The press poll held by ESCToday in this semifinal predicted the results correctly, except for mixing between places 6 and 7:
