On Thursday 14th May, Leicester Square in London will see a world record attempt to celebrate the 35th Annniversary of Abba's historic Eurovision Song Contest victory. An attempt will be made to set the official Guiness World Record for “The Largest Amount of Assembled ABBA Impersonators to Sing At One Time”.

Organisers are Calling all Eurovision enthusiasts, karaoke Kings and Queens and ABBA admirers to join the attempt, however it starts at 18:30 local time meaning that Eurovision Song Contest fans will have to sacrifice watching the second semi final which starts just 90 minutes later.

For the record to be recognised by the official Guinness World Record adjudicators all participants are required to dress as their chosen ABBA member of choice – so get ready to GIMME GIMME GIMME a winning Eurovision entry worthy rendition of the iconic hit!
