French entrant Patricia Kaas and her staff will arrive in Moscow tomorrow, Friday 8th May. This year's French delegation is bigger than ever, including many of journalists from big daily papers like Libération, Le Parisien / Aujourd'Hui, Le Figaro, as well as TV teams (France 3 of course, but also private channels like TF1 and Canal Plus) and radio stations (France Bleu), to name a few.
Bruno Berberes, head of the French delegation, arrived earlier this week to organise the promotional campaign around the artist, who is a star in Russia and will therefore receive a lot of media attention. A 48-pages portfolio will be distributed with pictures of Kaas along her Kabaret Tour and with lyrics of her song in no less than 33 languages, including Esperanto. The translations have been possible thanks to a close cooperation with the French OGAE club and a lot of OGAE friends around Europe. This superb collector item has been printed in a limited edition (500 copies). Besides, promo copies of a cd single are also meant to be given in each press conference.
Meanwhile, three different teasers are broadcast on France 3, advertising the contest and the singer, with the motto "Une chance pour la France" ("A chance for France"). Have a look on Kaas’ official website here, click on Video, then on Star de l’Est, Mademoiselle Succès and Et si elle gagnait ?
