Last night, the Italian singer in the 2011 Eurovision Song contest, Raphael Gualazzi, duetted with global star Mika.

The duet was a feature on Mika’s new Italian television show Stasera Casa Mika. The singers performed a combination of two of their famous songs. Mika sang Blame it on the girls and Raphael Gualazzi sang the Italian version of his second-placing Eurovision song Madness of love.

Raphael performed last night as a break from his Love, Life, Peace tour.

Although he has never taken part in Eurovision, Mika has been linked to the contest many times due to his flamboyant performances and exotic heritage. He has been rumoured to represent the United Kingdom numerous times, and in 2007 said he would love to enter the contest for Lebanon, from where his family originate.

Raphael Gualazzi was the first singer to fly the Italian flag for 14 years in 2011. He finished in second place with 189 points with his song Madness of love.
