Channel One Russia has recently made an interview with the Russian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, Anastasiya Prikhodko. During the interview, Norwegian representative Alexander Rybak did call Channel One Russia to wish Anastasiya Prikhodko a happy birthday. He spoke on the phone in Russian.
As the interview took place on Anastasiya's birthday, she was asked if she's got any particular plans for the celebration. But she told because it's less than three weeks until the Eurovision final, she can't go to Kyiv, where her family is, so there won't be any big birthday celebration. Channel One Russia wasn't the only ones to wish her on her birthday. Alexander Rybak from Norway was reached by phone. He wished Anastasiya in Russian a good celebration and also he told that Russia and France are his personal favorites.
Russian representative was asked to tell who are her favorite entries as well. Ukrainian singer stated that Norwegian singer has got all qualities that a winner needs and he is her biggest favorite. She also added that almost all songs this year are very professional and strong. "Too bad I didn't hear yet the French entry, it must be impressive", says Anastasiya.
Anastasiya also told that she is feeling as if she was preparing for the Olympics – she is exercising daily at home and at a sport club. She is also having rehearsals, interviews and TV shows' shoots. "I'm trying to have a decent sleep and a decent food. That helps me to stay in a good shape which is very good if I wanna feel comfortable and self-confident on 16 May", adds Russian representative.
