The Spanish national broadcaster, TVE, have announced that their first channel will air a special programme about Eurovision days before the final, which is scheduled to take place on May 16. A total of five Eurovision hopefuls will share the stage in the show: Soraya of Spain, Alex Sings Oscar Swings of Germany, Patricia Kaas of France, Jade Ewen of the United Kingdom and Susanna Georgi of Andorra. esctoday.com have received confirmation from Greek broadcaster ERT a few moments ago that Sakis Rouvas will also appear at the show.

TVE has disclosed a few details regarding this special TV show, which is intended to be a "homage to the Eurovision Song Contest". So far, we already know that it will be broadcast several days before the Eurovision 2009 final and will feature no less than five contestants: Soraya as host, Alex Swings Oscar Sings, Patricia Kaas, Jade Ewen and Susanna Georgi. All of them will sing their respective Eurovision entries: La noche es para mí, Miss Kiss Kiss Bang, Et s'il fallait le faire, It's my time and La teva decisió.

UPDATE (Apr 14, 16:17). Greek broadcaster ERT have confirmed a few minutes ago that the country's representative at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, Sakis Rouvas, will attend the show as well.

Soraya has also explained on her blog that former Eurovision representatives will visit Spain to perform with her on the TVE show. Dana International (Israel 1998), Charlotte Perrelli (Sweden 1999 and 2008) and David Civera (Spain 2001) are some of them.

Besides that, the Spanish representative has spent Easter busy rehearsing. Soraya has recently talked to the TVE programme Corazón, where she revealed that her performance will be something "never seen before" on the Eurovision stage. The singer also explained some details about the stylism for the grand final, featuring warm colors, accordingly with the song and Spain, "a warm country".
