Jamie-Lee Kriewitz (Bennigsen, Springe, 1998) rose to fame after winning the fifth season of The Voice Of Germany, in December 2015. She had been singing from an early age, joining the gospel choir Joyful Noise when she was twelve years old. Jamie-Lee is inspired by Anime, Manga and South-Korean K-Pop, and is known for her extravagant outfits, based on the Japanese Decora Kei-style. The artist is also a convinced vegan.

Jamie-Lee participated in, and eventually won, the German selection for Eurovision 2016 in Sweden, Unser Lied für Stockholm, in February 2016. She performed the song Ghost, which was already her debut single from The Voice Of Germany, landing on number 1 in the German iTunes chart, and number 11 in the German music charts.

In Stockholm, Jamie-Lee performed Ghost in the Grand Final, yet unfortunately ending on the 26th place, with 11 points. However, Jamie-Lee looks back positively on her Eurovision-participation, and Ghost is doing well in the overall ranking of this years’ Eurovision-entries in the European music charts.
