Eurovision 2017: Kherson releases promo video

The beautiful Ukrainian city of Kherson, is one of the 6 cities vying to host the forthcoming 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine next year. A promotional video of   Kherson’s bid has been released.

Whilst preparations are in full swing in Ukraine in the quest to determine the ESC 2017 host city, the excitement in the country is rising as the 6 potential candidate cities  showcased their proposals yesterday at the Battle of the City televised debate. Now we await NTU’s and the Eurovision Committee’s  deliberation and the announcement of the 2 finalists. Let’s check out Kherson’s promotional bidding video.

Promotional video of  Kherson’s bid to host ESC 2017

The 2017 Eurovision host city bidding race kicked off on 24 June and will conclude on 1 August, and will consist of 4 stages.

On 21 July NTU and the special Eurovision 2017 Committee will whittle down the number of potential host cities from 6 to 2. Hereafter NTU, the ESC 2017 Committee and the EBU will inspect and evaluate the 2 finalist cities in the race, thus visiting the potential venues and infrastructure etc.

The 2017 Eurovision host city will be announced during a special press conference on 1 August.

The preliminary dates for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest have been set on 9, 11 and 13 May
