Today sees the second rehearsals of the automatic qualifiers to Saturday’s grand final; the Big 5 and Sweden. We here at ESCToday are ready to bring you the latest news live from the arena itself.
The last act to take to the stage today for rehearsals is Joe & Jake from the United Kingdom.
Joe & Jake starts on a darkened stage, the duo performing next to each other before the lights brighten up the arena. The duo perform in front of 2 drummers who perform on raised podiums. During the chorus of the song, selfies which were submitted to the BBC by members of the public appear on the LED screens, mirrored on both sides of the stage. In the final chorus, the LED screens project images of the audience members in the arena before the performance comes to an end.
