After twelve heats, three quarter finals and a semi final, Bulgaria will decide over its representative in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest tonight. Twelve acts are in the running to become the fifth Bulgarian entrant in the competition.
The show
The show to be broadcast on BNT at 20:00 CETwill be hostedat the National Palace of Culture in Sofia. Twelve acts will present one song each and televoting alone will choose the winner.

Out of the twelve finalists, the winner will be the successor of Deep Zone & Balthazar, who represented Bulgaria in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contestbut failed to qualify to the final with DJ, take me away finishing 11th in the second semi final. In 2009, the country will take part in the first semi final on 12th May.
