Eurovision entrant Jade signs album deal

The United Kingdom's Eurovision Song Contest representative has revealed to esctoday.com that she has signed a album deal with Universal Records. In our exclusive video interview, Russell Davies followed the singer from London to Athens as she embarks on the second leg of her promotion tour.

Jade is working hard as the representative of the United Kingdom at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. Talking in depth about her song, My time, the British selection process and more, Jade reveals that she has secured a record contract that will not just see the song released, but an album as well. She will be the first Eurovision Song Contest artist from the United Kingdom to secure a big label album release since Precious in 1999.

Jade also revealed that her management team have talked about visiting forty countries as she prepares for the competition in Moscow and also reveals that she will shoot her video for the song next week, although the location is being kept as a surprise to her. She mentions that shooting in Moscow has been mentioned.
