ESCToday in collaboration with the City of Stockholm will be bringing you a series of articles leading up to the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in order to showcase and introduce the 2016 Eurovision host city Stockholm to our readers. Today we will have a look at the Gay clubs and bars in Swedish capital.

Stockholm is one of the world’s favourite and hottest Gay and Lesbian destinations. The Swedish capital is an open city, thus there is no specific gay neighbourhood. The gay and lesbian scene aka the clubs, bars and cafés are spread out throughout the city.

Most of the gay clubs and bars can be found in Gamla Stan (old city) and Södermalm. Some of the nightclubs don’t have a specific location, as they open on different days and use various locations as venues.
