CyBC, the Cypriot national broadcaster has confirmed to ESCToday that the 2016 Cypriot Eurovision entry will be premiered by mid February.
The 2016 Cypriot Eurovision representatives Minus One have flown to Sweden, where they have recorded their Eurovision entry with Thomas G.son in his studio. The 2016 Cypriot entry has been co written by Minus One and Thomas G.son.
Minus One have been selected via an internal selection in order to fly the Cypriot flag at the forthcoming 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.
The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Globen Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
Cyprus debuted at the Eurvovision Song Contest in 1981 with Island and is yet to win the competition. The country achieved its best results in the event in 1982, 1997 and 2004 when it placed 5th.
