Former Festivali i Kenges participant, Lindita Halimi, wowed the judges in her audition for the latest season of American Idol.
The singer, born in Kosovo, competed in the 53rd edition of Albania’s festival of song. She finishes in third place with her entry S’te fal, behind Bojken Lako and the country’s 2015 Eurovision Song Contest representative, Elhaida Dani.

In her audition for American Idol, she impressed the jury with her cover of It’s a mans world by James Brown.
Her performance earned Lindita a trio of yes votes from the panel of Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick.
This means she’ll now go on to the Hollywood round of the competition.
