The unlucky 2005 Austrian entrants, Global Kryner, are very busy. Their very first live CD will be released next January, under the title Live in Luxembourg, and will contain 5 new songs.

Since 2004, three CD albums have been released by Global Kryner, who specialized in folkloric cover versions of rock, pop and soul classics. Last-to-date studio album, Weg, published in 2007, includes songs like Oye como va (Santana), Proud Mary (Creedence Clearwater Revival) , I will survive (Gloria Gaynor) and Dschinghis Khan. The sleeve of Weg show all 6 members of the band naked but with paint on their bodies.Global Kryner gives a good number of concerts here and there. On this Sunday, November 16, they are playing in Friedrichshafen, Germany, and tomorrow, they will back in Vienna. All in all, until next February, 20 dates are announced in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and even France.
