David Fernandez aka Rodolfo Chikilicuatre will be back on the scene after a short break. David Fernandez known to everyrone as Rodolfo Chikilicuatre, the 2008 Spanish Eurovision representative will be seen in the Spanish Television series Pelotas which will be aired next year on TVE1. Vertele.com reports that Rodolfo will be starring in this forthcoming television series along with Paz Padilla, Belen Lopez and Maria Boto. Pelotas will be a comedy series depicting the lives of a group of friends from Hospitalet and their passion for soccer.
David will be one of the main actors in the show.He will be playing the role of a soccer coach/trainer. Many famous Spanish television actors will be taking part in the series, which is scheduled to be aired on national Spanish tv channel TVE1 early next year. The serial will be co-produced by TVE and EL Terrat, and will be directed by Jose Carbacho.
Rodolfo Chikilicuatre shot to fame in Spainearly this year when he appeared at the Buenafuente late night show aired on La Sexta, thus later competing at the Spanish Eurovision 2008 national final and winning the golden ticket to represent Spain in Belgrade with the songBaila el chiki chiki. Rodolfo enjoyed massivemediaandtelevision coverage building up to theEurovision Song Contestfinal in Spain. After therelatively poor results of the Spanish entry in Belgrade it was decided to terminatewith the character of Rodolfo Chikilicuatre.
