UPD Maja Blagdan confirmed guest at OGAE Croatia event

On 26th September, Eurofest Croatia, as OGAE Croatia is known, will be organising their 6th annual Eurovision weekend party where everyone is invited. Maja Blagdan, the 1996 Croatian representative in the Eurovision Song Contest will be the guest of honour at the party.

UPD It has just been confirmed that Maja Blagdan will be the surprise guest of honour at the 6th annual Eurofest Croatia Eurovision weekend party. Maja participated in the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest with Sveta ljubav and achieved an honourable fourth place. Since then she has released si albums, the latest one in 2007, a Gold Collection with 35 of her greatest hits.

The 6th Eurofest Eurovision weekend party will take place at the Hotel Amfora, Rabac in Istria from September 26-28. OGAE Croatia has prepared a full schedule of fun and Eurovision related games for the lucky fans present. The program includes a Eurovision Fair, a lottery, quizzes, Music wishes, a White Party (called thus as everyone must wear white) and much more.

The highlight of the weekend will be the Bana Bana parody show also known as the Inpersonation Contest. Brave fans will try their luck to win the first prize based on the best performance and best costume. In this "crazy" competition anything goes, fancy costumes, special effects, props, dancers, anything the fans can bring on to stage to impress the audience. There will also be three polls for the fans' enjoyment. The best song from Dora, the Croatian preselection's long history, will be voted for by the fans present from a selection of 25 songs. on Saturday morning, the best Eurovision ballad poll will take place and finally the best Party Person will be selected by a secret vote.
