Paul Oscar,1997Icelandic entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest, will release his �Silver Collection� (�Silfursafniđ�), a Greatest hits album to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of his first record.

This “true Icelandic icon” – as described in his personal myspace – not only has released 6 albums under his own name, he also cooperated in many other projects, such as recordings together with harpist Monika Abenroth, with latin group “The Millionaires” and as lead singer with easy-listening group Casino, on CD “Stereo”.On this one, as a true Eurovision fan, Paul covered “A ba ni bi” and “Congratulations” and also gave his own versions of Barbapapa, Hava naguila and 69, année érotique, a song penned by Serge Gainsbourg.Paul Oscar is famous for his videos and well-known as one of the best DJ’s on the island. He will actually be part of this year’s Gay Pride in Reykjavik”, from 7 to 10th August, together with Regina and Friedrik – Euroband – for whom he co-wrote this year’s Icelandic entry in Belgrade, This is my life.
