The 2016 Georgian Eurovision representatives Nika Kocharev & The Young Georgian Lolitaz have released the official videoclip of their Eurovision entry Midnight gold.
Nika Kocharov & The Young Georgian Lolitaz will have the honour of representing Georgia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with their entry Midnight gold.
Nika Kocharov and Young Georgian Lolitaz are an all male Georgian alternative indie band consisting of Nika Kocharov (vocals, guitar), Gia Iashvili (vocals, bass), Nick Davitashvili (guitar, keyboards) and Dima Oganesian (drums). They have been selected via an internal selection by GPB in order to fly the Georgian flag at in Stockholm next May.
The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 at the Ericsson Globen Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
Georgia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 and is yet to win the competition. The country’s highest placing in the competition, namely 9th, was achieved in 2010 and 2011.
