This evening, the Armenian entry for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, LoveWave, will be presented along with the official music video for the entry, performed by the country’s internally selected representative Iveta Mukuchyan.

Described as a reflection on her inner world and personal emotions, Iveta Mukuchyan’s Eurovision entry LoveWave was written and produced by Lilith Navasardyan, Levon Navasardyan and Stephanie Crutchfield along with Iveta herself.

Last month, Iveta released a small teaser of her entry via her official YouTube channel including a sneak peek at the music video for the entry. The LoveWave music video was co-produced by both the Armenian national broadcaster, AMPTV alongside the BLACKSHEEP Communications.

Iveta was born and raised in Armenia for the first few years of her life, before later moving to Germany at the age of 5 where she grew up in the city of Hamburg.

Iveta first shot to fame in 2009 following her participation in the Armenian version of Pop Idol (Hay Superstar), in which she ended in 5th position, before going on to participate in the second season of The Voice of Germany in 2012, winning the competition.

The Armenian singer was announced as the country’s official representative back in October and will go on to represent the nation this coming May in the host city of Stockholm with her entry LoveWave.
