Former Dutch Eurovision Song Contest participants Glennis Grace, Gordon, Waylon and Trijntje Oosterhuis will be part of the new Dutch TV-show It Takes 2.

It Takes 2 is a new TV-show to be featured on RTL 4. In the show, a panel of three coaches will accompany a group of Dutch celebrities in becoming music stars, training their vocal capacities and trying to conceive a hit-song. The three coaches, that will form duo’s with the contestants, are Glennis Grace (Eurovision 2005), Waylon (The Common Linnets, Eurovision 2014) and Trijntje Oosterhuis (Eurovision 2015).

The show will be hosted by Gordon (The Toppers, Eurovision 2009) and Chantal Janzen. Participants are Jan Kooijman, Lieke van Lexmond, Klaas van der Eerden, Jan Versteegh, Carolien Borgers, Fatima Moreira de Melo, Marlijn Weerdenburg, Rutger Vink and Pim Wessels.

A jury, consisting of singers Angela Groothuizen, Roel van Velzen and songwriter/music producer John Ewbank (national Dutch selection for Eurovision 1990 as part of the band Shift) will judge the performances, both solo and the duets with the coaches, but the public vote will ultimately decide the winner.

It Takes 2 will start 12 March 2016 on RTL 4.

V.l.n.r.: Klaas van der Eerden, Carolien Borgers, Fatima Moreira de Melo, Jan Versteegh, Lieke van Lexmond, Pim Wessels, Marlijn Weerdenburg, Rutger Vink en Jan Kooijman
