The Slovene national selection EMA 2016 will take place on 27 February. After releasing the songtitles and composers, the Slovene broadcaster RTVSLO has now released 30 seconds long snippets of each of the ten partcipating entries.
The participating entries are:
- Anja Baš – What if
- Anja Kotar – Too cool
- D Base – Spet živ
- ManuElla – Blue and red
- Nuša Derenda – Tip top
- Raiven – Črno bel
- Regina – Alive in every way
- San Di EGO – Brez tebe
- Sebastian Lukovnjak – Tales of tomorrow
- Žan Serčič – Summer story

EMA 2016 will be hosed by Klemen Slakonja. The winner will be chosen by two rounds of voting: in the first round, an expert jury will pick the top two entries that will qualify to the superfinal. In the superfinal, televoting will be used to decide who will represent Slovenia in Stockholm.
