Hungary: A Dal 2016 has its first finalists

The first four finalists for Hungary’s A Dal 2016 have been chosen.

Tonight saw the first of two semi-finals take place, with four slots in the final up for grabs.

The winners of heat two and heat three came head-to-head in tonights show, as Petruska came out on top against Kallay Saunders Band in the scoring.

Both artists qualified for the final in a fortnights time and will be joined by Gergó Olah and Mushu.

Kallay Saunders Band, Petruska and Gergo Olah made it through from the first stage of voting after achieving the highest score from the jury & public vote.

The voting then re-opened for the public to chose their favourite from the remaining six acts, and the Hungarian public awarded Mushu a place in the final.

  8. Reni Tolvai – Fire
  9. Szilvia Agárdi – It is love

Next week, the second semi-final will take place to decide the final four places in A Dal 2016 final.

Hungary will select their act in the grand final of A Dal 2016 on 27 February.
