The Netherlands: Anouk’s new album available on iTunes

Dutch artist Anouk, who represented the Netherlands at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, will release her new album on the 4th of March 2016, but the album is already available for pre-order on iTunes today, 2nd of February 2016.

The latest album by Anouk is titled Queen for a day, and is set for release on March 4th. But fans do not have to wait long: the album will be available for pre-order via iTunes today, February 2nd. Also, Anouk’s new single, Run away together, will be released on February 5th.

Anouk has been busy lately, recently concluding her first term as coach in the popular TV-show The Voice Of Holland. Her pupil was Jennie Lena, one of the backing vocals of Trijntje Oosterhuis during her performance at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna and she was one of the four finalists of the show, eventually earning the fourth place. Anouk also announced that she is pregnant of her sixth child, after suffering various miscarriages in the past year.

Anouk Teeuwe (The Hague, 1975) is one of the most popular artists in the Netherlands. In 2013 she represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden with the dark ballad Birds, eventually reaching a respectable 9th place with 114 points in the grand final. She furthermore wrote the song Walk along, with which Trijntje Oosterhuis represented the Netherlands in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria.
