Fanny Biascamano, who represented France with Sentiments, Songes in Dublin in 1997, is back with Fanny chante Brassens, a new album paying tribute to popular French singer-songwriter and poet Georges Brassens.

Fanny, who shot to fame in France at the very young age of 12 years old, had not released any material since 2009. With Fanny chante Brassens, the singer is back with a tribute album made of jazzy and swing versions of 12 tracks originally performed by popular French singer-songwriter and poet Georges Brassens.

Fanny will give a series of concerts as from March next year, notably in her hometown Sète where Georges Brassens was also born. She is also working on a cookbook on Southern France cuisine to be titled La cuisine du Sud de A à Z.
