GPB, the Georgian national broadcaster has  confirmed to ESCToday that it has opted for an internal selection in order to select its Eurovision candidate for Stockholm.

The Georgian broadcaster will reveal the name of the 2016 Georgian candidate on Tuesday 15 December at 12:00 local time (09.00 CET). A special press conference is scheduled to be held in Tblisi tomorrow where the GPB will officially reveal the name of the 2016 Georgian Eurovision act to the assembled press and media.

Georgia opted for a national final in 2015 in order to select its Eurovision entry for Vienna. Nina Sublatti won the the golden ticket to represent Georgia at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest with her entry Warrior.

Georgia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 and is yet to win the competition.
