The band Misztrál was supposed to take part in A Dal 2016, the Hungarian national selection for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. Their song Reggeli reggae was disqualified today by the broadcaster MTVA due to violation of the Eurovision rules.

The song was published already during this summer, while the rules only allow songs which were published after 1 September to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Misztrál will be replaced by Viki Singh who will sing the ballad Katonák (Soldiers):

The CD of A Dal 2016 will be released in about a month time, but full versions of more than half of the songs were released independently and are available for listening here.
