The Spanish entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 will perform an impression of the Austrian winner in Copenhagen for the show Tu Cara Me Suena.
Ruth Lorenzo is proving to be good at impersonation. Her performances as Sinéad O’Connor and her latest act as the fictional character Jessica Rabbit (from the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit) have gathered praise and earned her a few victories in the ongoing season of the Antena 3 show.
The competition in Tu Cara Me Suena goes on, and we learned through vertele.com that Ruth Lorenzo will have to imitate her dear and admired friend Conchita Wurst, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest which saw Ruth Lorenzo representing Spain.
Ruth and Conchita started a close friendship when they met in Denmark, and the same year we could see them both together on stage during the Gay Pride in Madrid.

This year we will have the chance to see both of them in one, as Ruth has been assigned the impression of Conchita Wurst for the 12th gala of Tu Cara Me Suena, which will be broadcast by Antena 3 on 4 December. The 11th gala will be aired on 27 November, with Ruth posing as Gloria Estefan.
While looking forward to being on stage to pay homage to her friend, Ruth must surely be a bit nervous and thrilled about the chance of being Conchita (or like Conchita) for a few minutes. The result will be seen on Antena 3 on 4 December.
