The Estonian national broadcaster, ERR, has released the names of the 20 acts selected to compete in the upcoming Estonian national selection, Eesti Laul 2016.
Over the past 2 days, a professional music panel consisting of 11 members have met in order to discuss which of the 238 submitted entries should be shortlisted to compete in the 2016 Eesti Laul national selection. The jury panel comprised of the following 11 members; Anne Veski, Olavi Paide, Erik Morna, Toomas Puna, Ingrid Kohtla, Eeva Talsi, Owe Petersell, Eisi Mäeots, Siim Nestor, Valner Valme and Kira Evve.
During tonight’s edition of the Estonian television show Ringvaade, all of the 20 shortlisted acts were unveiled to the public for the first time.

The 20 acts have from now until the 11 December to publish their entries.
The Eesti Laul 2016 participants will be allocated into their semi-finals at a later date. Each semi-final will include a total of 10 acts, but only 5 from each semi-final will qualify to the Grand Final set to take place on the 3 March 2016 at the Saku Suurhall Arena. Tickets for the 3 shows will go on sale from the 10 November at 10:11 local time (09:11 CET) and can be purchased via piletilevi.ee.
